Michael is the Co-CEO of Summit. Prior to co-founding Summit, he worked in various leadership roles in commercial real estate for over twenty years as an principal, asset manager, and broker. Prior to Summit, Michael was the President and founder of Thom & Company, a boutique real estate investment firm that specialized in acquisition, operation, and syndication of multifamily and retail investments. Prior to Thom & Company, he served as President of the Group Companies, a diversified commercial real estate company located in Beverly Hills California. He has participated in over $700 million of real estate acquisitions, syndication, and brokerage, as well as the operation of multifamily assets in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Tennessee, Alabama, and Indiana. Michael obtained a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California.
